After a successful derby festival in Daveyton over the past weekend that saw thousands of fans pack the stadium over two days, the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (PSL Reserve League) will make its second stop at Dr Rantlai Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein this weekend.

The festival is set to take place this weekend, 21 and 22 January 2017 with two matches scheduled for Saturday and a further two on Sunday.

Entry is free on both days but members of the public will be issued with a ticket as part of access control. Tickets will be available at the stadium’s ticket office on Thursday and Friday from 13h00- 18h00. They will also be available at activation points around Bloemfontein. Only two tickets will be allocated per person on a first-come-first-served basis.

With just five rounds of fixtures remaining, the battle for top spot is heating up; Mamelodi Sundowns, Bloemfontein Celtic and Highlands Park have emerged as front runners but nine other clubs are still within a chance of lifting the coveted prize. Platinum Stars, SuperSport United, Polokwane City and Baroka FC are the only sides that are mathematically out of the title race and will look to use the remaining matches to improve their log positions.

Log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns will kick-off proceedings in Bloemfontein when they take on fifth-placed Maritzburg United on Saturday at 12h00 followed by a clash between Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town at 14h00. On Sunday, Lamontville Golden Arrows and Free State Stars will do battle at 12h00. This will be immediately followed by the last match of the festival between second-placed, Bloemfontein Celtic and Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs. Kick-off is at 14h00.

Fans attending and those watching live on SuperSport 4 and Select (Channel 210) stand a chance of winning a trip for two to Netherlands accompanying the winning team. Competition details are available on the competition’s social media pages; Asidlali on Facebook and @Asidlali on Twitter, as well as at the start of the live broadcast on SuperSport 4.
