DESPITE announcing her retirement from the catwalk last year, Gisele Bündchen has retained her title as the world’s highest-paid model for the 14th consecutive year.
The Brazilian supermodel - who took a leading role in the Olympic Opening Ceremony held in her home country earlier this month – has netted $30.5 million since June 2015 according to Forbes, with her lucrative deals with Chanel, Carolina Herrera and Pantene (and her own underwear and beauty lines) all contributing to her impressive earnings.
The figure puts her well ahead of the second-placing model – fellow Brazilian Adriana Lima, who took home $10.5 million. Unsurprisingly, the new wave of social-media stars – Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss - also made appearances on the list, as well as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who ranked as one of the highest-paid models for the first time.
