Ellie Goulding has officially signed on to perform at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show where she will be joining artists The Weeknd and Selena Gomez. Ellie is currently promoting her third studio album Delirium.
As for why Rihanna chose to pull out, word is that she dropped out simply to focus on her music, after her participation was announced in October. Rihanna had previously performed at the show once before, in 2012.
This year there are a lot of new models joining veterans Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, and Candice Swanepoel. The new models include Kate Grigorieva, Martha Hunt, Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk, Jac Jagaciak, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, Jasmine Tookes, and Rachel Hilbert. Additionally, it has recently been announced that Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner will both be walking in the show.
Gigi’s audition footage was released and has gone viral after she showed some sweet emotion after being offered the job on the spot. Kendall seemed excited as well and tweeted about the news, which happened to coincide with her 20th birthday on Tuesday.
