Subject: To quit Sky+?

Sky+ used to be pretty good for me 7 or 8 years ago. Over the years the subscription has crept up and meanwhile our broadband speed has gone up so I can use iplayer, Amazon Prime etc. Also the content on Sky seems to have got worse.Thinking to ditch Sky and save £70 a month. I don't watch much sport, I guess I would lose a couple of high profile rugby and cricket matches, and would need to get a set top recorder. Could anybody comment, am I missing something, or is this the way forward? Thanks
