Dirigo is a Rackspace E-mail & Apps reseller. Our Exchange Servers are in the "cloud". When it comes to e-mail, there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution. If you live in Microsoft Outlook—the standard for corporate e-mail—then your primary account should be on an Exchange server. Period. Full stop.
The combination of Outlook and Exchange offers great online and offline support. That's true whether you're using Microsoft's Office 365 or a hosted Exchange option like our Exchange Hosting.
Rackspace Hosted Exchange email is relatively inexpensive and comes with a nice web-based email client and enterprise SPAM protection. The SPAM protection uses three layers. Layer I is Gateway scan, Layer II is a Cloudmark scan, and Layer III is ARM Research Labs message sniffer scan. Rackspace Email & Apps leads the email hosting industry with strong, multi-stage, server-level virus detection. The SPAM and virus protection are a step up from our POP offerings.
In addition to Rackspace Hosted Exchange and POP email, we offer IPSwitch IMail accounts, dedicated Microsoft Exchange Servers, Messagelabs filtering services, and Dirigo commercial Email Services Provider (ESP) services for bulk mail distribution.
Webmail Access
New users should log-in to Outlook Web Access (OWA) and change their default password. To do so, use the "Options" link which is located on the upper right side of the OWA interface. Then click "change your password" in mid right area.
iPhone and Outlook instructions are also found on this screen. Please contact Dirigo if you need assistance setting up a particular device. We have detailed instructions for many devices. Your username is the full e-mail address (e.g. name@domain.com).
