FIFA 14 is the upcoming edition of Electronic Arts’ FIFA video game series. The game is expected to be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 24, 2013 in North America and September 27, 2013 for other regions.The game will also be released for Windows, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita – including next-generation systems PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – and on devices running Android and iOS operating systems.
Lionel Messi will return as the main cover star for all regions on the global cover, having been on the cover for FIFA 13 and FIFA Street.It will be the first time that the FIFA Soccer name will not be used in North America.
Mexico will have a cover with Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez alongside Messi.
The United States will have two covers: the main cover with just Messi or the Mexican cover with Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez alongside Messi.
Central and South America (except Brazil) will feature Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal alongside Messi on the cover.
Gareth Bale will appear alongside Messi in the UK, Ireland and in the Middle East.

Career Mode
Career mode has been revamped once again. Additions include a Global Scouting Network through most countries, which allows you to hire a scout to search for talent all season long from various clubs around the world. The Career Mode hub has also been redesigned for easier navigation, fewer interruptions and live scouting reports, among other features. Managers are now able to develop, build and refine their network of scouts, gathering details on the attributes and traits of players from around the world. This innovative way of playing Career Mode also moves away from the concept of player overall rating as an on-demand metric of a player’s abilities. Instead, you communicate to your scouts what type of player you are looking for.
Licenses
Following the agreement between the Union of Professional Football Players of Montenegro, FIFPro and EA Sports, in March 2013 was announced that for the first time Montenegro national football team will be featured in upcoming FIFA 14 as a fully licensed team, as well as in next FIFA game series.In July 2013, EA Sports announced that 19 Brazilian clubs were officially licensed: 18 are from the 2013 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A season as well as Palmeiras.
Ignite
A new engine called the Ignite Engine is coming to the new installment of FIFA 14. This Engine features both graphical and gameplay changes such as crowd improvement, realistic movement from the players, and much more.It will only be available in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
Ultimate Team
The FIFA Ultimate Team game mode has been confirmed to return on FIFA 14 on all platforms, with exclusive downloadable content for the Xbox One.
