The countdown has begun and the larger tv networks are ready to present their television proposals for the new season. Adventure tv series, sci-fi tv series, dramas and comedies are preparing for the tv battle, but also to provide enjoyable moments to the public. Let’s take a look at 10 brand new tv series that we’ll see in autumn.



The Blacklist (NBC)

The great James Spader before the role of a superhero (Ultron and Avengers 2), will play a leading role in a tv series of NBC, a man who is the most wanted criminal in the world, and will mysteriously surrender himself and even reveal all the names of those who had cooperated with him. The only requirement is to work with a very new person in FBI, an agent (Megan Boone) that appears to have some things in common with him. The scenario is Jon Bokenkamp’s and if you like the Following and Hannibal series, you will love it.

 

Dracula (NBC)

Based on the classic novel by Bram Stoker and the scenario of the co-executive producer Cole Haddon, this story version finds Dracula in London to look like an American who is trying to pass the modern technology in the Victorian society. Of course, his real plan is to take revenge from the people who destroyed his life centuries ago. Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) gives a sexy tone to the role of Dracula.

 

Resurrection (ABC)

Based on the novel of Jason Mott, this fantasy tv series refers to dead people who … return to their families as if nothing has happened. A town in Missouri gets messed up when people see all those who have died banging at the doors of their homes. Aaron Zelman (Criminal Minds) has written the “pilot” episode, while Matt Craven, Frances Fisher, Samaire Armstrong and Sam Hazeldine are starring.

 

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC)

This is the tv series everyone is waiting for. Clark Gregg is the same as in the Avengers movie and Ming-Na, Brett Dalton, Elizabeth Henstridge, Ian De Caestecker and Chloe Bennet are the co-stars as the other agents. Joss Whedon (Avengers) and Maurissa Tancharoen write the script and have the production in order to monopolise the interest of the public.

 

Masters of Sex (Showtime)

It’s an older era drama about the sexual revolution. Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan are starring in order to show us the unusual life of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the pioneers of the technology of human sexuality, who became a coverup in Time magazine. The creator of the tv series that has caused much buzz in America is Michelle Ashford.

 

Gang Related (Fox)

Chris Morgan (Fast Five) is the writer and the producer of this tv series who places a gang member (Ramon Rodriguez) inside the police of San Francisco. He will be forced to find a balance between the obligations of the crime and the sense of devotion to his new environment. Terry O’Quinn (Lost) is staring too.

 

The Michael J. Fox Show (NBC)

On 26 September, this tv series of NBC has the premiere which is based on the experiences of the famous actor who has been suffering from with Parkinson’s disease for years. He plays a tv star who returns to work after a long break. Conor Romero, Juliette Goglia, Jack Gore, Kate Finneran and Wendell Pierce are also starring.

 

Sleepy Hollow (Fox)

Alex Kurtzman (Fringe) and Roberto Orci write and have the production of this mystery and adventure tv series which is a modern version of the history of Washington Irving, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Tom Mison plays Ichabod Crane who died in 1790 during a mission for General George Washington. He will “wake up”, but now he is located at Sleepy Hollow and in 2013. With him the Headless Horseman will return who will begin a new blood cycle. To deal with him, Crane has to find a new partner and this is the sheriff of the town, played by Nicole Beharie.

 

Almost Human (Fox)

It’s a buddy cop show from the future, a creation from the producers and screenwriters of Fringe, J.H.Wyman and J.J.Abrams. Karl Urban has the role of a police officer who lives and works in the not so far away future and he is obliged to cooperate with androids (Michael Ealy) to fight crime. Of course, he has some android parts too … It’s the biggest gamble of Fox for this autumn and one of the most awaited series.

 

The Tomorrow People (CW)

This is the story of a group of young people from all over the world who represent the next step of human evolution. And guess what, they have special skills, as teleportation and telepathy, which are used by them to fight evil. The story is based on the British series with Phil Klemmer (Chuck) to make the new format. Peyton List, Robbie Amell, Luke Mitchell and Aaron Yoo are starring.
