Mecca Bingo launches nationwide search to find Chief Tasters to judge its 2017 summer menu – Simply send in your favourite local dish for the chance to win your place on the panel.
Your local Mecca Bingo club is on the search for a new Chief Taster; putting taste buds to the test to help create the new spring/summer menu for 2017.
Mecca’s menu development team are calling on foodies to nominate regional dishes famous in their local area, with three lucky food fanatics winning the chance to join the next taste test panel as a Chief Taster.
The three Chief Tasters will be invited on an all expenses VIP trip to Birmingham to meet Mecca Bingo’s National Kitchen and Menu Development Team in the New Year. The Great British Menu style session will involve sampling over 40 dishes to determine the mouth-watering options for 2017’s spring/summer menu.
To enter the competition and potentially secure a place on the panel, please send the regional recipe you enjoy most to meccamenu@havas.com with a few lines on why it’s one of your favourite British dishes, including your contact name and number. The closing date for entries is 12th December 2016.
Mecca Bingo is especially keen to find the country’s classics, be it a Lancashire Hot Pot, Liverpool Scouse, Pease Pudding or even Haggis Neeps and Tatties; wherever you are in the UK, Mecca Bingo wants to hear why your region’s traditional dish or secret delicacy is the best Great Britain has to offer.
Mecca Bingo menu development manager, Mark Furniss, said: “We’re extremely excited about launching the search for the nation’s favourite regional recipes. There is no better way of making sure that Mecca customers will be happy with the food than by asking them to get involved in the planning from the very start.
