Following up on the launch of 250 Words, a website dedicated to reviewing business books and ideas, Simon & Schuster has launched Off the Shelf, a website about great back-list books.

Like 250 Words, Off the Shelf will be publisher agnostic and will feature books from competitive publishers to Simon & Schuster.

Other publishers, like HarperCollins and F+W Media, have invested in a vertical media strategy to attract and engage readers.
