In the weeks that led to this review, I figured out whether BodyKey actually works. Here at DietSpotlight we examined side effects, ingredients, scientific studies and level of customer service. Additionally, we picked apart through hundreds of user remarks and comments. Finally, we condensed and summarized to give you the info you need.

What You Need To Know

Firstly, BodyKey is a weight-management program consisting of shakes, bars, snacks and exercise. The ingredients in some products include whey protein, chromium, probiotics, amino acids, fiber, vitamins and minerals. Use depends on the supplement. The plan also offers genetic testing and online support.

There’s no mention of when BodyKey was introduced, but the parent company, Amway, was founded in 1959. You can purchase products individually or as a kit. We like the longevity of the business and that we found some favorable customer comments, but read on…

Unpleasant Taste – “Concerning?”

The first issue was the poor taste of BodyKey ingredients. “Some customers have complained about the flavor of the bars and shakes,” said our Research Editor. “This is concerning, because if you can’t handle consuming them daily, they will not help you lose weight.”

One customer stated, “Yuck. I’m not sure what else to say. I tried the meal replacement shake, the bars and the chews. Don’t like any of them.”

On the other hand, a different user commented, “I like the snacks. The tortilla chips and mixed nuts are fine.”

“Not a bad diet program overall. The protein shakes are okay. Similar to other diet shakes,” said another individual.

High Price – “Another Concern”

According to customer reviews, BodyKey side effects weren’t a problem, it was the high price of the supplements. One customer commented, “So expensive. Just not worth it in my opinion. There are much more affordable meal-replacement shakes and bars out there.”

“The Jump Start Kit costs $399. This is too expensive for me,” reported another.

Then again, not every customer complained about the price. A dieter said, “Not a bad price when you consider you are replacing meals.”

“As long as I lose weight, I don’t mind that it costs this much,” commented a customer.

Our research has shown if there is some part of a diet plan deemed concerning, like a high price tag, the probability of long-term success is rather low. Therefore, if dieters can’t afford BodyKey products, this could be a serious dilemma.

The Science – “Any?”

While we did not find any “science” presented with BodyKey, reducing your calorie intake could help with weight-loss. Unfortunately, there are no studies linking this plan to dieters losing weight. At DietSpotlight, scientific research is imperative. We become concerned when a company doesn’t offer the science-based facts to backup their supplements.

The Bottom Line – Does BodyKey Work?

So, should you whip out your credit card and order BodyKey supplements? Well, we like that these products are low in calories and available in different flavors, but the lack of research proving dieters will lose weight leaves us hesitant about this one. We also have some concerns about the steep price and complaints about the poor taste.

If you’d like to drop more weight, we suggest going with a diet product containing clinically-tested ingredients and does not cost you a fortune.

Among the best products we’ve seen in 2016 is one called Leptigen. It contains clinically-tested ingredients and has been shown to help ignite fat loss and elevate metabolism. People aren’t talking about harmful side effects and customer reviews indicate people are seeing significant results.

The makers of Leptigen are so confident with their product, they’re offering a Special Trial Offer, which is a good sign.
