Create this candy and tool bouquet for your guy for Valentine’s Day.

My husband is a quality man. He works hard to provide for our family. He’s also quite handy around the house. I wanted to show him my appreciation and love with this candy and tool bouquet. You too can create your own bouquet filled with items that your sweetheart loves.

Valentine’s Day Tool Bouquet

This manly bouquet was a lot easier than I thought it would be to make. The hardest part was picking out the right tools to include. Once I had the tools and candy, the bouquet went together fairly quickly.

Supplies

galvanized steel bucket

tools

candy

hearts

wooden dowels

green paint

sponge brush

hand saw

sand or dirt

hot glue gun

glue sticks

floral tape

red tissue paper

box or nails or screws

optional: chalkboard decal/paint & chalk

Tool Bouquet Directions

Use the sponge brush to paint the wooden dowels green. Allow the paint to dry.

Cut the dowels into smaller pieces with varying lengths using a hand saw.

Glue a dowel to the back of each tool. If you are having trouble with the glue sticking to smooth steel, reinforce with floral tape.

Glue a dowel to the back of the candy and hearts. I used a thinner dowel for these items.

Fill the bucket with sand or dirt. I used some potting soil that I had on hand.

Place red tissue paper into the bucket on top of the sand or dirt filler.

Arrange the tools, candy, and hearts into a bouquet by poking them through the tissue. Vary the height placement of the items.

Once the bouquet is arranged the way you want it, place nails or screws into the top of the bucket between the dowels. This makes it look nice and helps hold everything in place.

If you would like to write a message on the front of the bucket, add some chalkboard paint or decal. I used a decal which I cut into an oval shape.

Give your sweetheart the bouquet along with a Hallmark card for a special expression of love and appreciation.

I am so pleased with how this bouquet turned out. My husband is going to love it! It’s also going to come in useful for spring projects around the house. I bet he picks out a chocolate rose and eats it right away.

Valentine’s Day is almost upon us, so it’s time to get your shopping done. I picked up all the supplies for my tool bucket at Walmart, including a Hallmark card. Walmart is featuring a collection of Hallmark Signature cards for Valentine’s Day. Hallmark Signature is a line of premium, handcrafted greeting cards with beautiful embellishments. I picked out a lovely card with folded foil hearts that match the tool and candy bouquet.

Find Hallmark Signature cards in the card section at Walmart. Look for the in-aisle coupon offer – $2 off a 2 card purchase (min $2 purchase required), which expires 2/15.
