The long-term survival of humans and the great apes is dependent on how we respect and care for each other and our shared natural resources. The Arcus Foundation seeks to improve respect for and recognition of the rights and value of the great apes and strengthen protection from threats to the apes and their habitats. In 2013, Arcus awarded 44 grants totaling $10,037,365 to organizations working to conserve and protect the great apes.

Schools and teachers who want their students to learn more about STEM through a hands-on project should apply for this grant. The grant money will be used to fund the project based on the guidelines below under the projects considered for funding.
Wounded Warrior Project

With the number of wounded service members returning home to their communities increasing every day, Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is excited to have an opportunity to support other veteran-serving nonprofit organizations to ensure that every service member, veteran and their family member is recognized and their reintegration needs are supported. WWP Program Grants allow us to work with various organizations to better serve wounded service members, veterans and their family members and provide programming that meets the needs of our population in specific geographic regions of the country where existing services are limited.
Grants for Gardens
Deadline: June 2, 2014
Annie’s offers Grants for Gardens donations to schools and other educational programs that help build school gardens. Since 2008, we’ve helped fund to more than 270 gardens, because we believe that gardens help connect kids to real food.
