1:30 pm Update - Storms are just staring to develop along the dryline in Wise and Palo Pinto counties, they will move rapidly northeast toward the Red River.  New storms will be developing just west of I-35 shortly and there is a tornado watch in Oklahoma until 9:00 pm tonight.

1:00 pm Update - This map shows the upper level wind pattern forecast for 7:00 pm this evening, about 15-18,000 feet about ground.  The greatest thunderstorm creating lift will be along and east of the I-35 corridor.  Some storms may develop along I-35 but the greatest threat for severe weather remains east of I-35.  (Click the image for a larger view.)
