DALLAS, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - It’s time for Metroplex diners to mark their calendars with the announcement of the feature dates for DFW Restaurant Week 2014, presented by Central Market: August 11-17, 2014.
As benefiting charities the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and Lena Pope Home get ready for this summer’s 17th annual hottest dining event, DFW Restaurant Week is also celebrating the more than 125 restaurants and thousands of diners who participated in the 2013 campaign, raising more than $754,000 to support the organizations’ work in our communities.
“We are grateful for the community’s participation and our amazing restaurants and sponsors,” said Jan Pruitt, NTFB President and CEO. “DFW Restaurant Week continues to be our single largest annual fundraiser, enabling diners to enjoy the area’s top dining experiences while supporting our mission to put food on the plates of hungry North Texas children, seniors and families.”
