Do you remember me mentioning this hat in the Latest & Greatest post from a couple of weeks ago? It was truly love at first sight when I first stumbled across it in Banana Republic! Admittedly, I’m not a huge hat girl, but it’s not because I don’t love them. I just find it incredibly difficult to find the perfect combination of shape, style and price. Let me tell y’all, this one hits all three right on the mark! Needless to say, it has singlehandedly added a fresh gust of inspiration to my wardrobe. (And just a heads up for sizing, I’m wearing an L/XL.)
The beautiful, powdery blue of the band is the color of the season, y’all. I bet y’all have already started seeing it everywhere! I’m thrilled, because it’s a completely classic and beautifully romantic hue that makes this timeless ensemble soft, vibrant and springy all at once. So while I am smitten in every single way with this outfit in particular (I feel like it’s more appropriate for the Hamptons than Dallas) I know I’ll be able to get a lot of use out of this hat in coming months with all the blue we’ll be seeing! For example, how cute would it be with this dress?
Something about this post the ever-dreaded Monday a bit more happy in my book, and I hope it does for you too! I had a fabulously relaxed weekend including spin class, a trip to the car dealership (I’m on the hunt for a new ride… ah!) and a couples shower for one of my best friends. I also ate Tex Mex two nights in a row. So there’s that. Wishing each of you the loveliest week!
