New page

At the moment, I am planning on having everything work in JavaScript except for having a page on the wiki to hold the WAM data. The script would edit this page and add the new score automatically when the first user to come to the wiki that day visits. However, the page would have to be unprotected because, although the edit was done by the script, Wikia's software would consider the edit to have been done by the user. (A good example is [[w:c:bniceshottest:Template:Featured_Minigame?action=history|a template's history]] on my test wiki. I set it so edits done by one of my experimental scripts started their summaries with ''FPL:''. They are still under my username.) I'm guessing the edit wouldn't go through if the user doesn't have the right permissions.

Theoretically, someone would need to undo edits by any users who altered the scores to keep the data accurate. I doubt people would intentionally alter the scores often, though. Inaccurate data or "+/- Unknown" showing for the WAM gain/loss would be the worst damage a vandal could do.
