Next week, EA's FIFA 17 hits the shelves, and indeed there are discounts. Microsoft is offering a bonus $10 gift code if you pre-order a copy plus it is giving you a mini soccer ball as an added bonus (why not?). For the PS4 copy of FIFA 17, pick up a copy at Best Buy and you'll score a bonus $10 reward if you pre-order; if you're a GCU member your price drops to only $47.99.
In case you've been living under a rock, this week Sony raised the price on a one-year PlayStation Plus membership to $59.99. Just about all retailers have turned over to the new price, but oddly enough Walmart is still selling digital codes for the old $49.99. We're not sure how long this instant email delivery deal will last, but if you need to renew, it's a nice 'last chance' offer before paying the new Xbox Live Gold-level price of the PS Plus.
Speaking of the Xbone, old Xbox One's are going ultra cheap now that the Xbox One S is front and center. You can buy an Xbox One + Kinect refurbished bundle for as little as $190 at Groupon and get a bonus copy of Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition tossed in for free. Over at GameStop, it's selling the old Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundle for $229.99 and is tossing in either a free copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider or Rare Replay to move units.
