Detroit Airport shuttle service plan in motion

The Regional Transit Authority may soon be soliciting proposals for a shuttle service between Detroit Metropolitan airport and downtown Detroit. The Washington Times reports that the service will run in addition to taxis and other hired transportation that currently operate at the airport.

A 20-year-old man was shot in killed at a Detroit block party on Saturday afternoon as nearly 300 gathered to celebrate a birthday party. The incident happened on a basketball court during the block party as a total of 10 people were shot.
