The large front porch looks great from the street, and with two bedrooms, the place works either as a solo retreat for someone with means, or as a roommate situation for two someones of (slightly more middle-class) means. The 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit offers in-building laundry and one gated parking spot (an additional spot will cost $45 a month).
The kitchen has a couple of features that make this place feel homey and inviting. There's a window seat/banquette and a huge (original) brick fireplace with a simple wood mantel. The closets are large and include built-in storage. The bathroom is simple, but has a luxe feel, with black-and-white tiles and a white apron sink set in a dark wood vanity. There are nice views of the city skyline from the second story window.
Other amenities include hardwood floors, a dishwasher and central air. The place is cat friendly (kittehs!), but doesn't accept dogs of any size. Water is included with the rent.
