There are boats and then there are floating mansions. Normal people call them ships because they buy a ticket and go for a cruise for a few days. But, rich people call them yachts because they own them and ten families could live on one.
These are the most expensive yachts in the world though. They are not your average, run of the mill yachts any old millionaire can own. These are the outrageously huge sea vessels billionaires land their helicopters on and have a full crew running everything from the ship’s wheel to the kitchen.

Owner Shahid Khan also owns the Jacksonville Jaguars. It’s a $200 million dollar vessel that can be rented if a person has the money. The last known rate was for about $1.25 million a week. Why leave a boat sit in the water or in a warehouse when it can be out giving underprivileged rich families a taste of the high life?

A family could get lost on the Kismet. It would take a person a week just to find the kids. But with a nice cocktail lounge like the one on the Kismet, it might be better to throw a huge business party and see if some of that $1.25 million can’t be recouped in an evening or two. That is until he met the behemoth Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber bin Muhammad Al Thani bought for a quarter of a billion dollars. Wondering who that is with the long name? The former Prime Minister of Qatar, the nation with the most oil. He’s so rich, settling for a smaller name just wasn’t going to do.

This what they call a fast yacht. It IS actually a yacht. But, it has an engine that might be able to blow some speed boats out of water. Then, you take a closer look at it and you suddenly realize why it’s on a list full of expensive yachts.

Imagine hanging out on that deck. You have a front deck and an awesome back deck with a bar. There is more than enough room to catch a tan. But, look at that communication system on top.
