What Money Can Buy!
If you ever had $6 million and were wondering what that money could buy you, behold the new house of the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Kylie Jenner is now the proud owner of this behemoth, situated somewhere in the Hollywood hills.
Friends Won’t Need A Drone To See It
Kylie’s friends will not require a drone to see the new house. They’ll be able to view it from the ground floor. Here, you can see her DOUBLE, 2-car garages. Math majors have already figured out that that makes it a 4-car garage. Pretty impressive.
Humble Door
The humble front door seems to contradict everything else about Kylie’s mansion… from its size, to it’s decor to its heated pool and hot tub. We’re not sure why the door is so low-key, but it’s not fooling anyone. That being said, it does look good and the stonework is beautiful.
The Opulence Behind The Door
Once you open the humble door, you are greeted by a not-so-humble foyer that’s probably bigger than most Americans’ homes. It makes for a grand entrance, and is no less than what you would expect from someone whose family has its own reality show.
A Staircase To The Third Floor
The ceiling on the first floor is so high that the staircase in the foyer goes straight to the third floor, bypassing any second floor that might have existed! All joking aside, the staircase in the foyer is the perfect touch to let you know you have entered an opulent mansion.
Brand New Hardwood Floor
The brand new hardwood floor stretches across the entire house and is of the highest quality. The mostly light-colored wooden panels go very well with the white, molded walls. Even Donald Trump would walk in and say, “Nice…”
Windows, Windows and Windows
The theme of the house is “windows.” As Kylie lives in California, she wanted to take full advantage of the California sun. Her house is lined with windows that illuminate the house in the daytime. This amount of windows might be bad for the power bill, but we don’t think Kylie cares.
Dining Fit For Royalty
Kylie’s dining room is simply amazing and absolutely gigantic. The wall leading to the garden is mostly made of windows, and the double french doors allow her to ventilate the room while she’s entertaining guests on a beautiful California night.
Recessed Soft Lighting
The ceilings in the dining room and the foyer are recessed with hidden lighting. Kylie can illuminate her rooms at night using soft lighting which won’t hurt the eyes. In the daytime, however, the sun will do all the illuminating with some help from a plethora of windows.
Spacious Living
The floor plan of the house is very open. Large doorways connect the rooms with minimal walling. This setup gives the house a very spacious feel, and allows you to see from one end of the mansion to the other.
The Wine Under The Stairs
While you were checking out the foyer, you might have thought that was a wine cellar under the stairs, and you were correct! Kylie used the useless space under the staircase and actually managed to make it useful. Temperature controlled, stone floor and a glass door!
The Butler Lives In Style As Well
If you were rich enough to have a butler (we don’t know what that feels like, either), this is probably what you would want the butler’s pantry to look like. Marble countertops, custom made cabinets. It must be good to work for Kylie!
A Bright Kitchen
Kylie’s kitchen is one that even Martha Stewart could call home. Very spacious and with a gorgeous view of the Hollywood hills. We think it would be a real pleasure to cook our famous grilled cheese on her stove and then scarf it off of her marble countertop!
Toned Down Coloring
While the house might reek of rich, the color scheme that Kylie selected for her house is mostly white, wood (the floor), matte black (some cabinets and some doors) and dark brown (the railing in the foyer). The kitchen walls have this nice light green that adds a bit of color to the house.
A Fireplace To Keep Warm
Kylie’s house has 2 fireplaces, just in case it gets cold. California has a very dry climate and night time can be a bit chilly. Should that happen, Kylie can just turn up the heat, as it were, and enjoy some nice hot cocoa by the fire.
Custom Black Cabinets
The island in the kitchen is topped with a gorgeous marble counter top… a contrast to the black, custom-made cabinets it sits on. Keeping the mansion mostly white and light-wooden colored was a good idea, but the dark touches really give the house some style.
The Island To End All Islands
Kylie’s kitchen island might just be the greatest kitchen island ever created. We’re not sure if it’s the cabinets, or the gigantic slab of marble, or the dual sinks (one on each side of the island). If we had this island, we might even consider learning how to cook!
A Better View Of What “Custom” Looks Like
Here’s one more view of the kitchen’s island. This angle shows off the custom cabinetry best. Like the walls in the foyer, the cabinets are adorned with molding, a sure-shot to being classified as classy!
Kitchen Stacked With Power
We’re not so naive as to think that Kylie will ever cook anything for herself, but we know that her cook has it good! Just look at this kitchen! Three full ovens, two microwaves and a gigantic stainless steel griddle! We can already smell the bacon sizzling!
Outdoor Goodness
As anyone who lives in California can attest, the state has some gorgeous weather. Kylie does not want to miss out on the outdoor fun and relaxing, so she had this awesome patio constructed out back. The concrete tiles are evenly spaced and it’s all meticulously upkept!
Bathroom With Wine Fridge
Because, why not? If you were on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, wouldn’t YOU have a wine fridge in your bathroom? We certainly would. Besides, it’s not like you have to keep wine in there… it could just as well be a $17 smoothie made out of endangered fruit.
Luxurious Bathing
Kylie’s bathroom is really something. Each side of the bathroom has a sink with a lot of cabinet space and a big mirror. In the center, there is a modern tub with a huge window looking out onto the Hollywood hills.
The Shower
The shower in Kylie’s bathroom is definitely the centerpiece. It has multiple shower heads, a marble bench and walls, and a huge glass door. You would want to take a shower in this bathroom even if you were perfectly clean.
The Guest Bathroom
Kylie did not spare any money when she had the guest bathroom finished. It’s a bit smaller than the master bathroom, but there’s nothing unusual about that. This bathroom also has marble galore and the bathtub has a huge glass door that fully opens up.
The Ultimate Walk-In Closet
We assume that Kylie has an excessive amount of clothes, being that she’s extremely rich, a star on a reality TV series, and has her own clothing line. Her master closet seems ready to handle her wardrobe. It has custom cabinetry and is the size of a regular living room.
The Walk-In Closet In The Walk-In Closet
You know that when your walk-in closet has a walk-in closet, you’re living the high life. Kylie’s master closet has a separate room with wooden walls. It is humidity controlled and guarantees that her most prized clothing won’t go wrinkly.
A View From Above
From the second floor, you can walk out onto the big balcony and look out into the distance. The Hollywood hills and rolling roads surround Kylie’s property. At night, Kylie can hang out on the balcony and watch the stars in the California night sky.
Kylie’s Personal Laundromat
The laundry room in Kylie’s house might as well be considered an official laundromat. It has plenty of space, black countertops, white cabinetry and an area to clean off any dogs that might have gotten themselves into trouble.
The Garage Interior
The four-car garage looks even more impressive on the interior. It’s obvious that Kylie has some incredibly expensive cars, so she’ll be able to store them in here to protect from the damaging effects of the sun. The concrete floor is so shiny, she’ll be able to look at each car twice!
Fun In The Sun
Kylie’s backyard is big enough to host an incredible party and has a pool and hot tub combo. While there aren’t that many trees in her yard (most of it is grass), we’re pretty sure that Kylie will hire a gardener to spruce up the yard (that pun might have been intended… maybe).
A Closer Look At The Pool
You might have noticed it in the picture of the backyard, but Kylie’s pool has 6 mini-fountains that spray water, from jets hidden in the grass, directly into the pool. It adds a special little touch to the pool. The pool is, of course, heated for those cold California nights.
Barbecue Party
If she ever entertains guests at her house, which is 100% guaranteed to happen at least a few time a year, Kylie has an outdoor cooking area on the patio. Complete with sink, counter space and a huge grill. It looks like the party’s about to start!
The Powder Room
Near the foyer, there is a special powder room. It’s one of the few places in the house that does not have the signature wooden floor and is instead tiled. Like the other bathrooms, it has some custom marble countertops and a massive mirror!
Yet Another Guest Bathroom
There are a few guest bedrooms in Kylie’s house and each one has its own bathroom. This bathroom does not have a bathtub in it, but it has a stylin’ shower with, you guessed it, marble.
The Balcony, Part 2
Remember that balcony that Kylie hangs out on to watch the stars at night? Well, that balcony actually wraps around the house and is accessible from most of the second floor.
The Garden
The side of Kylie’s house has a separate entrance amid a quaint little garden full of desert plants and flowers. The walkway starts at the back of the driveway and is made of stone.
