Actress Kate Beckinsale is relying on support from the fabulous women in her ‘girl squad’ after reportedly separating from her estranged husband.
The sexy Brit and director Len Wiseman are said to have called it quits last year, and following the separation, she has taken a leaf out of Taylor Swift’s book and created her own group of foxy females to hang out with.
And one of her new besties is Olympic skiing superstar Lindsey Vonn, who herself is single after splitting from golf ace Tiger Woods last year.
Lindsey tells Access Hollywood Live, “We met at the Billboard Music Awards and she’s so cool and we hit it off.
“We’ve got a couple of our girlfriends and we just meet for dinners and have a great time… she’s (Beckinsale) like the master of the squad.”
Taylor Swift set the standard for girl squads when she recruited models Lily Aldridge, Karlie Kloss, and Cara Delevingne, longtime best pal Selena Gomez and actresses Lena Dunham and Hailee Steinfeld to her superstar inner circle.
And Kate is not new to the celebrity pal circle game – she is also pals with Victoria Beckham, Kate Walsh, Courteney Cox and Eva Longoria.
Meanwhile, Vonn, who is in training for the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, admits she enjoys leaning on her girlfriends, but insists she’s still close to her ex, Tiger.
“We’re still in touch,” Lindsey says. “I still love him. He’s a great guy and he’s a great father and I have the utmost respect for him.
“I just wish him the best and we’re friends. We’re just two adults that… it didn’t work out.”
