Alchemy [M, 37,000 word count]

Castiel Novak’s life is average until the day he wakes up with superpowers. Soon after he meets Dean Winchester, an investigative reporter with a knack for getting himself into trouble. Written for the Dean/Cas Big Bang 2011.

The Awesomes [NC-17, 29,000 word count]

Twenty years after going into hiding, the former Mr. Awesome and Righteous Man are attempting to raise their family in peace and quiet. But peace and quiet does not find them.

Banana Pancakes [T, 5,600 word count (abandoned? WIP)]

If asked, Dean couldn’t place why exactly he decided that Trench Coat was his bus boyfriend. He just knew that one day he looked up from his cup of Dunkin’ and thought ‘Yep. This is the kind of guy I could imagine spending the rest of my life on the MBTA with.’.
Or, the one where Cas is the masked vigilante patrolling the streets of Boston.

Castiel & His League of Super-Powered Associates [M, 19,300 word count]

A crossover with DC Comics. Jimmy Novak, CEO of Novak Industries, is Castiel the Avenging Angel by night, bringing justice to the streets of Gotham. When Integriman the superhero of Metropolis asks him to protect his brother Dean, Castiel finds himself developing feelings he usually tries to avoid. But as Dean becomes the pawn in dark games played by the villainous Alastair and Crowley, Castiel struggles to decide where duty ends and obsession begins.

The Crescent City Chronicles [M, 51,600 word count]

Police Commissioner Robert Singer has a bit of a problem on his hands. He’s got a handful of vigilante super heroes running around in his city and Mayor Crowley is barking right and left to have them taken off the streets. The real problem is that these heroes are actually helping to curb the crime rate, and Commissioner Singer would just as soon look the other way. The other problem is that he knows two of them personally… his adopted sons, Sam and Dean Winchester….
Dean, mechanic by day, force of street justice by night. Dubbed as “The Hunter" by news papers and tabloids alike.

Daybreak in the Midnight City [M, 45,000 word count]

Marvel Universe Fusion/AU. With Yellow Eyes dead, life can get back to normal for Sam and Dean—or as normal as it can get for the Winchesters. But when a monster hunt takes a decidedly strange turn (even for them), Dean meets Castiel, a mutant hiding from the government and its draconian Registration Act, and Sam stumbles across Bruce Banner, a genius with a very large alter ego. Together, they realize the forces of Hell, man, and a mysterious new enemy calling himself Loki are conspiring to make their lives as abnormal as possible. They’ll need to enlist the help of Tony Stark, known to the world as Iron Man, to face these dark forces in a battle for New York City.

Despicable Misha [NC-17, 52,000 word count] cockles

In a world where super-villains have to compete against each other each day to gain the respect of the Evil League of Evil and the support of the Bank of Evil, Mischievous Misha struggles with both, plus a distinctive lack of new ideas for heists. He’s been in the business for quite some time, and though his minions and his best friend Jared keep him busy just fine, it’s only when Jensen moves into the house next to Misha’s that he becomes aware there’s something more to life than being evil. What he doesn’t know is that Jensen is a villain like himself, just younger and an up and coming one, and only moved here to put Misha out of the way.

Echoes and silence, patience and grace [T, 8,300 word count]

Being a superhero is awesome. Sure, the press is always in his shit and he really, actually hates that, but he’s Dean Winchester. The press hasn’t given him a break since the mid 90’s. (Supernatural as the Avengers!)

For Truth, Justice and Led Zeppelin [M, 44,500 word count]

Being a masked vigilante is difficult enough when you’ve got petty thieves, drug dealers and a day job as a photojournalist to deal with (not to mention trying to keep your little brother alive so his wife doesn’t skin you). The last thing Dean Winchester needs is for his city to become the battlefield for an apocalyptic showdown between the forces of Heaven and Hell. But, like it or not, he’s being (literally) swept off his feet by an angel and thrown into the middle of a war he’s not ready for. Featuring superheroes, leather pants, secret identities, and Dean’s weird new coworker - Jimmy - who never seems to write any articles and won’t stop staring at him.

Guardian Angel [NC-17, 2,500 word count]

Crack reporter Dean Winchester should really be more careful about what he publishes, but we all know that isn’t going to happen. Lawrence City’s most mysterious super hero tries to persuade him…

Head for the Exits [NC-17, 25,000 word count]

Dean’s life in the Edge City PD is going swimmingly: There’s a masked vigilante prowling his rooftops and nursing a crush on him; a serial murderer who’s too damn smart for his own good; his partner is so new she still smells like Academy polish, and he can’t quite work up the nerve to ask out the coffee guy across the road.

Holding Hands with God [NC-17, 7,300 word count ] and sequel A Graying Tower, Alone on the Sea [NC-17, 13,000 word count]

Dean is a superhero with issues, Castiel is a mild-mannered reporter trying to date him.

If It Was easy, It Wouldn’t Be Worth It [M, 29,400 word count (WIP)]

Dean and Sam are Collectors; gifted individuals with a link to the spirit world who can cross the boundary between the living and the dead. With this power, they’re able to retrieve prized information from the dead and return to the land of the living — for a price.
Dr. Castiel Novak works for the Milton Institute of Technology and while he finds the business of Collecting to be be somewhat reprehensible, he hires the Winchesters to Collect information from the recently dead Lucifer Milligan, the Institute’s brilliant former president.
But when Lucifer reveals to Dean the truth of his death, the three men find that things are not always as simple as they seem.

It’s gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet [T, 2,400 word count]

Dean is an ace reporter. Cas is a superhero with a stupid name that Dean refuses to ever say. He’s not so good with the secret identity thing either, considering how easily Dean figures it out.

Just Surviving High School [T, 8,100 word count]

Dean is the powerless firstborn of John “Commander” Winchester ready to start his first day of high school. What he has to do is survive his freshman year, meet his dad’s expectations, struggle to maintain the relationship with his best friend Castiel, deal with his bizarre new friends, cope with his personal archenemy and prevent evil to win. Basically, just surviving high school. Retelling of Sky High.

Kryptonite in Shades of Blue and Green [NC-17, 12,800 word count]

Dean is the only member of the Winchester family without super-powers and has lived with the threat of being used against him all his life. When Dark Angel finally makes threat reality, Dean ends up trapping them together for two months. A lot can happen in two months. Written forthis prompt on the spnkink_meme. WARNING: While I did everything in the story I could to make it clear this does not warrant the archives’ rape/noncon warning, Dean is Cas’ prisoner so consent, no matter how willingly portrayed, does have a unavoidable dubcon vibe. Since neither ‘dubcon’ nor ‘bodice ripper’ are among the site’s warnings I opted for the ‘Choose Not to Use Archive Warnings.’

Look, Up In The Sky [T, 10,000 word count]

In this exciting issue we cast our eyes on the mysterious metropolis of Lawrence City, and its two valiant protectors, strangers from another world striving to save the helpless citizens from the most dire threats imaginable! As threats mount from without and within, can these two unlikely partners overcome their differences in time to defeat the deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced? Or in a world where smoke can dress itself in human skin, can this tale that can only end in tragedy? Face Front, True Believers, and find out!

No Heroes Allowed [M, 10,200 word count]

AU. Dean is a mechanic in the big city and his brother, Sam, is a lawyer in the DA’s office. Both are psychic. A year ago, they fought crime with Castiel, a superhero known as the Angel. Then the No-Masks laws were passed and Castiel disappeared, taking with him Dean’ heart. What’s a psychometric mechanic to do when the only person he imagined forever with left to protect him?

Renegade [T, 9,300 word count]

Officially, Castiel is a deeply committed, borderline workaholic PA. In reality, he’s little more than a glorified babysitter to a spoiled superhero.

Second Life, First Christmas [T, 3,600 word count]

Dean just wants Castiel’s first Christmas in the new century to be a good one. (This is a fusion with Avengers, so only SPN characters appear. It’s not explicitly necessary to have seen The Avengers, but it might make some details more clear)

Turning a Blind Eye [T, unknown word count (long)]

For swing_set13 who wanted a superhero story with Cas as a mild mannered reporter working with Dean only to find out they are both superheroes who don’t really get a long until they do.
