But think critically, you can still have your best shot during that weather even though it can contradict the photo you wanted before that weather appears. Rain can add softness and peacefulness to the photo. Good or bad weather gives more emotions, more feelings, more moods, and more life to the photo. Don’t let the weather stops you in having your photographing on that day.

One of the landscape photographer problems is having a difference between the sky and the land. Human eye are capable of perceiving the difference between the two in color yet the sensor of the camera cannot. An ND grad filters or Graduated Neutral Density Filters can be a solution to this problem of the photographer.

ND grad filters are a kind of optical filters that are used to brighten or darken the half of the photo. For example, given you want to expose the sky and the land – with the use of ND grad filters – you can darken the bright sky for the subject while land can float to the photo.

Polarising / Polarizing Filters

Some of the photographers have their polarizing filters / polarising filters on their kit bag that are often place to the camera lens. Polarising / Polarizing filters are used to manage the reflections, darken skies or suppress a glare from the surface of the lakes and seas. This will tend for you to partially change the balance of the light in the photograph. It will increase more color contrast, intensities and saturation in artistic effect manner. It will result into an artistic optical landscape photograph.
