The developer behind The Heart of Europe (THOE) on Dubai’s The World islands is exploring the possibility of flying visitors to and from it by seaplane.

Kleindienst Group, UAE based real estate agent and developer, has announced that the project has partnered with Seawings, the Middle East’s popular seaplane tour operator.

Seawings will work closely with THOE to promote tourism to The World islands, and will offer its guests preferential rates to fly over the islands and Dubai’s scenic coastline.

Made up of six man-made islands, each capturing a different facet of Europe’s character, THOE  will be home to the world’s first climate controlled areas, featuring rain and snow-lined streets, floating villas, along with the world’s largest open aquarium.

This partnership is the latest announcement regarding transportation to and from the islands, which have so far included agreements signed with Dubai’s RTA, who will offer water taxis and ferries, and with Ultimate Charter, which will provide exclusive access to luxury yachts and other boats.

Josef Kleindienst, CEO of Kleindienst Group, said: “We are delighted to partner with Seawings to ensure we give our guests the opportunity to see the very best that Dubai has to offer from the air. We want to ensure that we provide the ultimate holiday experience, and experiencing Dubai by seaplane fits with the high level of service and activities we will offer.

“We greatly look forward to working with Seawings going forward, and I am confident that together we will provide our guests, both international and from the GCC, with the most unique possible trip to Dubai.”

Stuart Wheeler, CEO of Seawings, added: “We are pleased to partner with this one-of-a-kind development on The World. The Heart of Europe hospitality development is the perfect complement to Seawings and this partnership offers prospective investors in Dubai and Seawings passengers a completely unique way to experience The World as well as gain a much larger understanding of the vision that has been created for Dubai.”
