Andreu World is a Spanish company with more than 60 years of experience delivering high-quality furniture for hospitality, corporate, educational, healthcare, outdoor and residential projects worldwide. After 15 years of presence in UAE and Middle East, we have recently opened a new showroom in Dubai, which occupies approximately 200m2. The exhibition area is designed so that visitors can envision solutions to whatever their furniture needs may be. This space allows specifiers to touch and feel most of the products that until now were only available in catalogues. The showroom houses our seating and table collections for meeting areas, lobbies, cafeterias, restaurants and outdoor areas, along with the latest collections from international designers Patricia Urquiola, Lievore Altherr Molina, Jasper Morrison and Piergiorgio Cazzaniga.
What are your best selling products?
The Flex, which comes in over 25 different versions, is our best-selling conference chair. The most successful soft seating is the Couve sofa, designed by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga, which embraces a contemporary styling in the classical tradition. Other popular product designed by Cazzaniga is the Raglan Collection, which has been enlarged with new module options and occasional tables. Highlights from our lounge pieces include the Alya collection, a full range of armchairs for contract and residential applications; the Tauro Wood and Serena Collections, designed by Lievore Altherr Molina. New versions of armchairs from the Nub Collection, received a good reception when introduced this year.

Beach Rotana Hotel and Towers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai International Airport, Emirates Towers, Princess Noura University in Riyadh, Shangri-la´s Barr Al Jissah Resort in Oman, 360 Mall in Kuwait, Qatar Airways Oryx Lounge and many others.

They can look forward to seeing how a lighting solution can enhance space and architecture. The different application clusters provide plenty of inspiration for designers/architects on how to use the latest technologies. Intelligent controls allow us to control the lighting of the complete showroom via smartphone or tablet. Furthermore, we have really good coffee to offer while touring the Light Centre.
What are your best selling products?
Zumtobel recently launched the third generation of the SLOTLIGHT, which is called SLOTLIGHT Infinity. The opal optic of the new SLOTLIGHT luminaire is supplied with a continuous diffuser of up to 20m in length. The product was always a bestseller in the region and a favourite of architects. We have high expectations with the new version as it offers something that was not possible before. Apart from that, visitors will be able to experience our awarded products such as SEQUENCE pendant, INTRO spotlight, AXON pendant and many more.
What projects have you been involved in?
We provided the complete lighting solution for the Symantec Office in Dubai. We were also involved in the lighting solution for the LinkedIn Offices in Bangalore. For the Google Offices in Bangalore, we provided a custom made solution that allows for colour changing and image display. As an example, during the Indian National Day the lighting forms the Indian flag. We also provided lighting for the Mall of the Emirates refurbishment and supplied the lighting for Diesel in Mercato Mall and Porsche in Abu Dhabi.

The marriage between art, resins and the choice of support (pure or composite aluminium and acrylic plexy glass) brings art to life and leaves the clients limits boundless.
