This year marks INDEX International Design Exhibition’s 25th anniversary. The region’s largest event for the architect and design industry in the Middle East, INDEX is expecting to attract more than 800 exhibitors from over 40 countries.
Due to take place from 18-21 May 2015, INDEX will offer industry professionals unrivalled business and networking opportunities for buyers and sellers of residential interiors products and services.
At the moment, INDEX has already garnered more than 250 more exhibitors than its 2014 edition, as well as new country pavilions such as Saudi Arabia. Existing pavilions like Brazil, Czech Republic, Egypt, Italy and others, have too stepped up their participation efforts.
In addition to the INDEX fair, visitors will also have the chance to explore the workspace section, adjacent to the overall exhibition. Previously known as The Office Exhibition, workspace at INDEX is the largest commercial interiors fit-out and design exhibition in the Middle East. It is the premium showcase for high-end products and services that, especially when combined, offer ideal solutions for the modern and contemporary office space.
The product sectors at workspace at INDEX include commercial, educational, healthcare and technology. Additionally, with its 14th anniversary coming up, it has an estimated 140 exhibitors participating this year that originate from more than 20 countries.
INDEX itself will include a wide range of design sectors known as furnishings, artisan, furniture, contemporary collection, kitchen and bathroom, lighting, objects, outdoor living, retail, textiles as well as sleep.
Beyond the exhibitors, the show is hosting a number of design talks and trend tours.
Of which, Victoria Redshaw, Matteo Bianchi and George Foster will partake. While the schedule for the design talks is not yet live, those interested can revisit the website closer to the date of the event.
And once again, there will be the Majlis Competition, which is creating more and more buzz, with finalist positions aptly being sought after.
With so much going on during the four-day event, we took the time to speak with some exhibitors about what they’ll be presenting this year. Now it’s time for you to meet the INDEX and workspace exhibitors you should visit.
