Hello Crafters!

Guess who is here today, me! Zoey!

Today I want to show you an Altered Tin! I had this Tin since years , maybe 6 years? And I never had the chance to play with it...untill today!

I separated carefully the lid from the base and then I applied a small coat of Gesso.

When the Gesso was dried, I covered the tin with tissue paper with Gel Medium..and I let it dry.

While it was dring I cut few pieces of patterned paper to cover the inside of my tin.

I also stamped my sweet little girl - I absolute love stamping with Stamper's Big Brush Pen because they are indian ink, so this mean they are totally waterproof! To stamp my image I used Stamper's Big Brush Pen BLACK.

I stamped my image over two patterned paper to add some interest to the little girl. After I glued the two pieces together, I went over the image with a bit of Gel Medium. I did this because I wanted to make my surface pourous since I then added some more shadows with different Stamper's Big Brush Pen. To color the body of the girl I used  Stamper's Big Brush Pens 3ct: SUBTLE TONES  meanwhile for the dress I used Stamper's Big Brush 3 ct BLUE

I glued the patterned paper to the inside of the tin, and to add some shadows I added some Stamper's Big Brush Pens 3ct: NEUTRAL  and to add some lights I blended in a bit of Gold Champagne Gelatos®.

I colored with Gold Champagne Gelatos® a big paper rose. To do this, I just applied the dry Gold Champagne Gelatos® and with the waterbrush pen I helped the color blending in with the paper. I did the same thing with the small roses and I used  Metallic Mint Gelatos® , Iced Chai Gelatos® and Butterscotch Gelatos® .

While the roses were drying, I grabbed a piece of chipboard and I added some color to it. I used Iced Chai Gelatos®  and Chocolate Gelatos® , again I let the colors blend together with the waterbrush pen.

With a punch I punched out few butterflies from the same collection of patterned paper, to give them a bit of "girly" mood (since the paper is pretty dark and masculine) I added the  Glass Bead Glitter Gel.... if you haven't try it yet, you definitely have to give it a try! This medium is fab, it dries perfectly clear leaving some sparkles and a great texture. And well, I am not a glitter lover....so believe me, it is not too sparkly...but is nicely subtle! I also added the Glass Bead Glitter Gell on the girl wings!

The last thing I did, was to color a piece of crinkle ribbon. To color it, I spread a bit of  Metallic Mint Gelatos® , Metallic Blueberry Gelatos® and Butterscotch Gelatos® over my kraft sheet, spritzed a bit of water and I just let the ribbon sink in all the yummi color.

Then all was left to do was gluing everything together!

This was my first alterde tin and I had so much fun doing it! I hope it will give you some inspiration for your next alteration!

I leave you with some photo of the final project!

Wishing you a creative and happy day, thanks for stopping by!

Ciao, Zoey
