You don’t normally think of creating lifelike sculptures using LEGO bricks as a sculpturing medium, but Felix Jaensch’s latest series of sculptures do just that.
The German artist is skilled at translating ruffled up parrot feathers or lumpy orangutan fur into LEGO pieces. His Flickr is full of original designs that he creates regularly. Many of his sculptures are available as part of DIY kits through MOC Nation, including the acclaimed red fox. Lately, Jaensch has been trying to gain support on LEGO Ideas for his guinea pig design.
