The Underground, the kit releases for October at Studio Calico, are now for sale. Special products this month include silkscreen designs and Color Theory paint. So cool and easy to use. For the projects below, I used the scrapbook kits. JUST THE TWO OF US | I am so in love with Kim Stewart's floral stamp! I repeated it to make the background here using Color Theory Ink Pad in Doc Brown. The papers this month had so many rich natural colors, I loved doing a little pattern play with them. I used Mister Hueys to watercolor the silkscreen as a title.
SUNDAY MORNING | I printed my photo on the back of the vellum paper from the main kit. I like how you can see the floral pattern through the lighter areas of the image. I balanced out the page with little bits from the kit, love the sentiments on the puffy stickers!
CHIC GIRL | I went crazy and hand wrote my title! I also used the silkscreen stars from the Underground PL Kit with white acrylic paint. I dry brushed over the screen so it would have this grungy look to contrast the girly theme. Love these silkscreens!!
SUMMER SNIPPETS | I can't resist using all of an alpha or every sequin from a kit sometimes. It's just fun. The world map rub-ons are one of my favorite products this month, they were actually what I started with when approaching this layout. I gave my Martha Stewart Glue Pen a workout attaching the alphas.

FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN | The gorgeous acetate alphas in the main Scrapbook kit were the perfect design element for my page about my girls' first day of kindergarten. I used the whole alphabet and managed to sneak in 2014. That photo kills me!
LOVELY | I love working with a 12x12 photo as a layout base. I combined the papers from the main Scrapbook kit with Color Theory sequins and mirrored stars from the Card kit to tie in the galaxy feel of the page. I adore the blue!
GEM GIRL | I went a little crazy with the Card Kit stamp. The gems are just too good! I wanted the colors to do the talking in the design here so I left everything else super simple. I used the digital version of the stamp to make the square title. All stamping done with the Color Theory Ink Pads.
