Class Masses Begin Today; 9th Grade Mass First

In addition to all-school liturgies, students in each grade will gather as a class this fall to celebrate Mass. School chaplain, Fr. Joe Kuharski, the parochial vicar at St. Stephen’s in Anoka, will celebrate each Mass at nearby Our Lady of Lourdes. Ninth graders will be the first to have a class Mass, which is TODAY. Students should put their belongings in their lockers after 1st hour and report to the Florance Center. The other class Masses are September 13 for 10th grade; September 27 for 11th grade, and October 4 for 12th grade.

Academic Mentor Meetings Tomorrow

Students, you will meet with your academic mentor after 1st period tomorrow. Please bring homework and other class materials to work on quietly during the meeting. Mentor meetings provide you with a chance to check in with your mentor about how you are doing in your classes so far this year.

Back-to-School Night Tomorrow

Parents, please join us tomorrow (Sept. 7) from 6:00-8:45pm for Back-to-School Night to learn from teachers, mentors, and administrators of the academic expectations for each student this year. You will meet your child’s academic mentor and follow your child’s class schedule to learn about course goals, content, and assignments from your child’s teachers. Driver's Ed Class Starts Today; Still Room to Register

The September driver’s education class, taught by Ray Kroll ’60, begins tonight – and there is still space if you are interested. The class goes from Sept. 6-9, 12-16, and 19 from 3:30-6:50pm. There is a mandatory parent meeting tonight from 7:00-8:30pm. Click here for a registration form. You may return it to the Administration Office. Classroom instruction costs $110 and behind-the-wheel instruction costs $330; students who register for both the class and behind-the-wheel instruction will pay $399.

Lasallian Ministry Holds First Meeting Sept. 15

The Lasallian Ministry staff would like to welcome everyone to our first gathering of the school year on Thursday, September 15 from 7:30-8:20am in room D104. We would like everyone to attend this meeting, even if you are already involved in Lasallian Ministry as we will be sharing information on several new opportunities, projects and programs being offered this year through Lasallian Ministry. If your bus drops you off at 8:10, you are still welcome to stop in at that time. If you cannot make the morning meeting but are still interested in participating, please stop by the Lasallian Ministry office for more information.

Record Your Christian Service Hours

Any 10th, 11th, or 12th grader who completed Christian Service Hours over the summer should record the hours as soon as possible. Validation forms may be obtained in the Campus Ministry office (Room H109) or by clicking here. If you are a transfer student and have questions please see Mr. “CJ”Hallman during your lunch period. 9th graders, Christian Service information will be shared in your Theology classes within the next two weeks.
