**The Opportunity:**

Extend Ortho’s suite of automated test cases (Lua), enhance the test automation framework (C/C++), and build new automation server functionality (Windows scripting).

**The Responsibilities:**

+ Develop automated test scripts primarily using LUA to run within the Ortho test automation framework (“TAF”)

+ Extend TAF using C/C++ to better support existing functionality or to add support for additional system components

+ Extend automation server components where necessary using Windows scripting and off-the-shelf component integration

+ Participate in formal code review process

+ Function as a member of a collaborative software development team

+ Complete, functioning automated test cases which will run within the construct of the TAF, checked into source control

+ Fully tested TAF source code and automation server components (as needed), checked into source control

+ Supporting documentation

**The Individual:**

+ Field of Study: Computer Science, Software Engineering

+ Minimum Year in School: Junior

+ Undergraduate Students

+ Minimum GPA: 3.0

+ Proficient in at least one high-level programming language

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Prior use of a source code versioning tool is preferred

+ Working knowledge of UNIX is preferred

+ Exposure to Windows scripting is preferred
