IT Summer Internship Overview:

The purpose of the IT Internship Program is to introduce students to careers in Unilever IT through challenging and rewarding experiences offering the opportunity to contribute to business goals\. The aim is to use this experience as a pathway to future employment within our Unilever IT teams\.

Through their individual assignments, students will develop knowledge and professional skills one of the following areas:

+ North Americas IT Business Partnering Teams – provide Client Business Partner Relationship Skills

+ Global Innovation Teams – participate in evaluation of global IT solutions and leverage appropriately

+ Enterprise Services Team – primary focus is on third party provider relationship management

Depending on the particular assignment, knowledge can be gained in additional IT Professional Skills and systems knowledge\. The internship will be fully integrated into the business objectives and will allow a realistic perspective of an IT position\.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Participate in business client management discussions while working with various Unilever business teams to identify IT resources to enable the business in meeting and tracking key deliverables

+ Participate in the implementation of IT programs and systems

+ Prepare analysis of business needs

+ Own day to day responsibilities as well as a project deliverable during the internship assignment

Qualifications:

+ Current college sophomore/junior level pursuing Bachelor’s degree in information technology

+ The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership competencies; analytical ability and strategic thinking skills; strong communication skills; the ability to understand complex business issues and to manage effectively in a fast moving and dynamic environment\.

+ Cumulative GPA of 3\.0 or higher

+ Ability to relocate and willingness to work at Unilever offices in Englewood Cliffs, NJ or Trumbull, CT

99. Digital Interview – Upon successful completion of the assessment, you will be invited to participate in a digital interview where you can solve real\-world problems using Unilever scenarios\. This will give you insight into our company culture and how we do business\. The interview is split into two parts – three short hypothetical questions followed by a business case\. You can record and complete your video anytime, anywhere\. All you need is a computer or mobile device with access to video recording \(usually standard in most devices\) and a stable internet connection\.

99. Discovery Center – Once the interview is complete, we’ll invite our top matches to our offices in the Greater New York City or Toronto areas \(depending on which job you applied for\) for a truly immersive experience\. You’ll get to experience a number of exciting activities and projects along with your peers, meet our leaders, and receive personalized coaching and feedback\. The exercises are designed around a real business case study, enabling us to tap into your potential while giving you further insight into what it’s really like to work at Unilever\.
