Overview:

The CRM Manager is a subject matter expert supporting brand and cross-functional teams on the delivery of CRM programs. He/She owns the CRM strategy for the U.S., including governance, enhancements, and training, and will be delivering best practices to the organization. This individual will have responsibilities that span brands and the UL organization overall, and will work closely with the Digital Marketing Services (DMS), eCommerce, Brand teams and the Global CRM team to roll out a best-in-class CRM system and strategy.

Responsibilities:



Lead the strategy, development, and execution of omnichannel CRM initiatives to optimize customer loyalty, acquisition, retention, personalization, and promotional strategies.



Own the CRM agency and vendor relationship(s) including scope of work development, briefing process, and project management



Partner with Marketing and Agency teams to develop and execute marketing communications, ensuring efficiency and consistency



Work with agencies to develop reporting and insight based on a clear understanding of business objectives to inform marketing initiatives



Partner with database, agency, and digital teams on the evolution and integration of segmentation strategies, models, web analytics and database enhancements to support best in class CRM strategies



Monitor legal issues surrounding customer data and privacy



Develop playbooks, best practices, and case studies for brands and cross functional teams to ensure success



Conduct training sessions to embed the capability within the Unilever organization



Be an ambassador of eCommerce throughout the organization and pioneer its success.



Work in partnership with the Global CRM team to share best practice and learnings in the US for the benefit of the Global CRM network

He/she needs to be motivated by empowered decision making with calculated risks. Evidence of critical thinking, learning quickly, and a can-do attitude with an appetite for continuous development is critical.

Must be action-oriented with CRM and digital/e-commerce experience.

Education:

Undergraduate degree required

Skills:

Experience:

·

5 or more years of experience in CRM, direct marketing campaign development and execution, analytics, and/or loyalty program management is required.

·

Experience developing integrated marketing strategies and integration of CRM with broader marketing and digital efforts

·

Technical acumen with an ability to understand IT solutions and potential tradeoffs – able to communicate technology concepts to business users

·

Relevant experience with databases, analytical and campaign tools is required

·

Strong data manipulation skills manipulating and ability to draw actionable insights for developing compelling and innovative customer programs is required.

·

A mix of CPG and non-CPG experience preferred, not required

·

Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint required
