We are looking for a Customer Development Finance (CD Finance) intern to provide support to our Global CD Finance team based in Rotterdam (Weena). CD Finance is business partnering the account teams for International customers (Tesco, Carrefour) and Discount channel (e.g. Lidl). Second, CD Finance plays a key role in realizing Unilever’s change agenda and objective to double the size of the business.

What can you expect in your internship?

As an intern you can expect to be a full part of the CD Finance team supporting month close activities such as facilitating forecast process, improving reporting to the customer development department, creating insights for customer team based on analyses, prepare summary presentations. For all of this, you are expected to have an analytical and critical view on. You have to deliver reports to our international stakeholders and communicate this accordingly. As an intern you will also get involved in ongoing projects. As an intern you are able to support the team and have an active role in achieving set goals. It is expected that you have a critical view on the project set up, drive the progress and think what we want to achieve. Can this set-up be more efficient, what can we do better or is there an alternative? That is your question. In your 6-9 months internship you will get the chance to see how an Unilever Finance department operates in an international environment, including month end close and how to manage a project towards a set goal.

Skills & Experience

•In your ultimate or penultimate year of Masters degree, preferably in Finance;

•Looking for an internship for work experience;

•Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel;

•Good knowledge of the English language;

•Strong analytical capabilities;

•Strong communicator and team player;

•Motivated, independent and goal oriented;

•Hands-on mentality;

•Available for 6 months full time (per direct).
