Job Summary

The team leader will be the strategic leader of a Unilever & key customer team and operating plan.

TL is responsible for building customer relationships at a senior level, driving the UL growth agenda and developing team talent.

This leader must be able to develop and articulate a strategic, market development business plan, aligned with Unilever and account growth and financial objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities



Develop and deliver the strategic growth roadmap – driving both Unilever and account initiatives.



Manage NSV, Trade Spend, and share growth on all brands within this team.

Deliver operational objectives:

trade spend,

direct customer contribution, net in pocket, sales contribution margin, deduction levels, and indirects.



Lead a team of 5 direct reports and 2 cross functional – 4 CBM’s, 1 analyst and 2 CMM’s, delivering the individual and collective success required of the team.



Identify trade spend efficiencies, opportunities and risks.

Develop customer and category specific trade plans that achieve growth targets.



Review plans with individual RSM’s to insure integrity and risks are reflected



Identify opportunities and raise through the proper channels



Coordinate promotion and new item activities with Sector and headquarters.



Communicate all customer, market, and channel activities, opportunities, and risks.

Business Development Manager

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) position is responsible for the operation and communication of trade budgets and strategic initiatives to the field resulting in successful implementation of brand plans nationally. The BDM evaluates and increases efficiency & effectiveness of the total trade investment and works collaboratively with Shopper Marketing to efficiently overlay consumer merchandising and evaluates promotional effectiveness.

The BDM is directly responsible for leading the development of strategies and tactical plans to drive brand volume and profit, focused on new product introductions, trade advertising, trade promotions, and merchandising support. The BDM creates a detailed business plan to match marketing, production and logistic capabilities, and to meet the profit and turnover requirements of both the company and the customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and drive division/sector merchandising strategies and business plans

Identify NILG opportunities to build core distribution across the portfolio

Recommend and coordinate new ideas for each customer and all brands.

Evaluate and adjust trade and consumer events to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Coordinate semester reviews across the sector and monitor CGP while maximizing innovation

Evaluate promotional effectiveness and ROI on promotional activity to support programs and products developed

Job Summary

The Customer Business Manager (CBM) will lead local cross functional team and work closely with internal teams & Wal-Mart to develop and execute winning strategy for Wal-Mart; achieving share, turnover and profit targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

CBM responsible for hitting financial and share targets, forecasting accurately (volume and spend) & managing to investment budgets

CBM leading local cross functional team to ensure day to day operational excellence and achievement of Perfect store targets

·

Alongside Brand teams develop short to long term strategy for in Wal-Mart to ensure plans in place to deliver the 4 Growths

Directly responsible for the development of Associate CBM and Analyst, while leading a full cross functional team

Deep understanding of the customer and their strategies and WoW. This is crucial as this role requires the ability to penetrate into different parts of the customer than Unilever

has deeply penetrated to date.

Deep understanding of the Wal-Mart shopper and Unilever brand’s consumer. This is essential to be able to marry up UL and customer’s strategy to develop a winning strategy.
