**The Opportunity:**

This high caliber Marketing Role is critical to deliver the future growth within our largest cluster in EMEA namely the Middle East and Africa (MEA) Market Cluster. Partnering with MEA Business Managers & Distributors , the EMEA Regional Marketing Group, the WW Business Fields - the Marketing Manager will develop the marketing strategies and plans for the annual business cycle and the strategic planning and investment decisions for the 3 year horizon. This role is blending commercial leadership, with an ability to identify new growth opportunities as well as organizational leadership with strong collaboration skills. This role reports directly to the Business Director for MEA.

**The Responsibilities:**

**Brand Strategy**

• Creating, Rolling out & Updating Marcomms, Marketing Collaterals and Sales Tools in line with current WW Branding Guidelines.

**Consumer Insights & Analytics**

CI

• Meets regularly with customers in critical markets to understand concerns and key challenges to include :-

• CTQ requirements of customer base in MEA and to engage with EMEA regional marketing to ensure these are understood especially in the context of new product launches.

• Seek to understand and address pain points for MEA customers and distributors for MEA to ensure optimal ‘customer experience’ including ‘order 2 cash’ process/ supply chain / third party suppliers etc

• Competitive overview including differentiation and forthcoming developments in competitive offerings.

ANALYTICS

• Market dynamics analysis from identified primary and secondary data sources working with the WW BI group to better understand new opportunities and changes in regulations that impact on our current and future portfolio offering.

• Ability to understand key focus segments in key markets to ensure customization and delivery of EMEA Commercial Strategy for all LOBs and to ensure these are developed and executed by working with MEA Distributors.

**Marketing Planning & Execution**

• Develop marketing plan for region in line with EMEA commercial priorities and assisting in the development and updating of tools to track the implementation of the strategy.

• Ensure delivery of key marketing projects on brief on budget and on time.

• Promotional campaigns in line with EMEA commercial priorities especially in driving New Product Introductions (NPI)

• Specific identified opportunities for accelerating growth in MEA to include volume and pricing deals

**Business & Financial Acumen**

• Ensuring Monthly dashboard on critical EMEA Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) is reviewed and analysis completed of reason codes for any variance as well asopportunities to course correct.

• Recording and day to day monitoring of expenditure, to assure spending is within assigned budget

• Assembling reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information from Sales Activities and Sales results

• Consolidating country information to ensure accurate input for demand forecasting

**Launch Excellence**

• Assisting the EMEA Marketing Manager in the Project Management of Product Launches:

• Developing and Updating Product launch checklists to track progress

• Pre-launch: Preparing regular updates to commute launch readiness

• Post-launch: Preparing regular updates to commute launch progress

**Marketing Communication**

• Working with the BMs - Management & support of Key Congresses in MEA and ORTHO awareness days.

• For key EMEA external events or projects to compile and progress HCC submissions through all stages of the process and to provide advice for local submissions. Local submissions themselves are a local country responsibility.

• Assisting in the preparation of External Newsletters and Internal communications related to product updates in partnership with Marketing Manager

**The Individual:**

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:**

• Minimum 5 years in commercial roles in diagnostics with at least 3 years marketing experience.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with distributor markets – preferably in MEA.

• Business degree or marketing qualification preferable.

• Language – High standard of English & Arabic – additionally business level of abaility on French is preferable.
