The Opportunity:
Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics is currently recruiting for a*ValueMetrix Senior Consultant*that is field based. This is a work from home position which covers the*Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Dakotas, and Nebraska Territory.*
Position offers a Company Car, Laptop, and Cell Phone.
The Responsibilities:
The ValuMetrix Senior Consultant is responsible for the entire client consulting relationship. Primary responsibilities include project director and team leader for targeted solutions sales and assigned client Process Excellence assessments and engagements. The ValuMetrix Senior Consultant will develop and direct implementation solutions with a primary focus on lean, in client facilities (healthcare institutions). These Process Excellence assessments and engagements span a continuum of services from projects that are developed in conjunction with OCD product sales teams and projects that are developed with clients that desire organizational or department transformation using lean training and concepts.
The Senior Consultant's primary responsibility is to own and be accountable for the ValuMetrix client relationship, for both blended product and service offers and service only offers. The Senior Consultant must be able to work at all organizational levels up to and including the executive suite. Senior Consultants are required to have the necessary skills to influence executive leadership and craft proposals that influence organizational outcomes and create strategic partnering relationships. Negotiation skills are required to deliver a win for both client and OCD. They are also required to develop contract documents. Senior Consultants must possess all the skills necessary to conduct workflow analysis, complete client assessments, implement lean or other PE projects and develop strategic partnering proposals. Through their project work, ValuMetrix Senior Consultants will train customers (transfer knowledge) on the ValuMetrix Lean Production System. The Senior Consultant is also required to train others, including ValuMetrix Analysts and ValuMetrix Consultants.
*Additional Responsibilities:*
* Delivery of presentations for potential prospects and industry trade groups.
* Project development, project leadership and project implementation at client sites.
* Monitors, tracks and periodically reports on engagement satisfaction and financial performance.
* Lead identification and actual upsell within current client sites and for potential new business opportunities.
* Skilled in lean methodologies, change management, team development and project management.
* Ability to establish and cultivate executive relationships within healthcare client sites is required.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to expectations is key to the successful performance of this role.
* Plays a leadership role in the development of new or enhanced service offerings that fit client needs and the ValuMetrix business plan.
* Develops publications and presentations to promote awareness, differentiation, value and education of consulting offerings to customers.
The Individual:
* A minimum of a BABS degree in medical andor nursing, healthcare technology, related science or engineering is required.
* Minimum of 3 years lean experience is required.
* Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is preferred.
* Healthcare Consulting experience preferred, with multiple cycles of implementation that met or exceeded client expectations and contract deliverables.
* People management experience is preferred.
* Expert project management experience is required.
* Must have demonstrated cross functional leadership experience.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
* The ideal candidate must have strong financial skills.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (EXCEL, PowerPoint, Word) are required.
* Must have previous experience demonstrating strong educational and training skills to be successful in this role.
* Demonstrated ability cultivate executive relationships and interface with indiduals at all levels within the organization.
* Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
* Must have a valid US driver's license in good standing.
