To CSI fans everywhere… get ready to say goodbye to Nick Stokes.
After 15 seasons, George Eads who played the forensic investigator will be leaving the show.
Eads has been apart of the CSI cast since the pilot episode and is the latest original member to leave following Paul Guilfoyle.
If CSI gets renewed for a 16th season, Jorja Fox will be the only original cast mate remaining.
According to TVGuide.com, which first reported the news, Eads’ exit will be tied to the Gig Harbor Killer case, though its unknown whether or not this means Stokes will die.
The news comes after Eads clashed on set with a writer in 2013, leading him to take a leave of absence and miss several episodes.
CBS declined to comment on the exit.
