Ever since Canada was introduced into the National Basketball Association in 1995, with the extension franchises, the Toronto Raptors and Vancouver Grizzlies, and ever since then, the game of basketball has grown into the 2nd most popular sport in Canada. Canada has brought out some of the NBA’s special talent today, including NBA champion Tristan Thompson and Timberwolves guard Andrew Wiggins, who are both part of the Canadian National team.

Despite not qualifying for the Rio Olympics this summer, they look forward to 2020, where Wiggins and Canadian company hope they can take over the tournament. With a growing amount of Canadian NBA players in the game today, Wiggins says they are the 2nd most talented team, after the dominant USA team. Per ThePostGame.com:

With a roster of Corey Joseph, Tristan Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Tyler Ennis, Anthony Bennett and more young and up and coming college players set to join the NBA and the roster before 2020, Canada will have a good shot at giving Team U.S.A a run for their money.
