Love never ceasing. Passion for mission goal also should be never ceasing. Deer Park community Church run for end of year with concentration and goal. After reflecting the work of God in Deer Park community Church recently. minister learned that there is a logic reason we can develop church and get people come to church and serve in church for a heavenly purpose. God never ask us to do something we cannot do it. What we have is what we need. Different minister have different way and advantage to expand mission. Deer Park community Church is a multicultural church, to be both international and local.
What is the key to Deer Park community church mission? The answer is connection. to build up connection with neighborhood and unreached people, to build up connection with lost sheep of Israel, to build up connection with any age group and any backgroud people. Only by certain connection minister can reach them by gospel and transform people’s life.
Story of Denis: Denis is ministers’ neighbor and he know what minister is doing. Just for the time prepared by God is coming, minister invite him come to church and suddenly he get salvation from Jesus and keep coming church week by week. Maybe now connection with people around you is does not work, but later it will be a vessel to reach many people.
Story of Jenny: Minister Frank know brother Earnest and David for a while, when a moment David reach Jenny by gospel and she need help from Chinese minister, David introduce Jenny to minister Frank and Jenny’s faith is fully built.
So Deer Park community Church try to build strong and good connection with unreached people. One way is that language can be an important way to build connection with Chinese-America which is old generation stay here but not speak good English. BY reaching this group people, church minister can get more people come to church and serve and prepare to reach more America. So the multicultural feature of Deer Park will be a key and strengthen for outreach.
