On Sunday 9 November at 2.30pm a History Ireland ‘Hedge School’ debate will take place in the Abbey Arts Centre, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, on the topic of ‘The northwest at war, 1914-18′. The event is taking place as part of the Allingham Festival. The debate will be chaired by Tommy Graham, editor of History Ireland, and the panelists are Jonathan Bardon, Jeff Kildea (UCD), Marc Geagan, and Quincy Dougan.
