Sammie has talked about us having a Halloween party this year. I am still pondering jumping into having a house full of teens on Halloween. But, for those of you that do plan Halloween parties you can incorporate age appropriate favors into your kraft bag. I created these for my grand kids. Since they don’t live by me and I don’t get to see them every Halloween I send them a little Halloween crafts Snail Mail Favors.

Yes, I even send treats in the bags for them. This is an easy diy craft projects and is really inexpensive which is great when you have a lot to make! So let’s get down to the basics of creating your own.

Kraft Envelopes (w/flap & string) : American Crafts Kraft Envelope 4.25 x 5.7″ (12 ct.) or 6.7″ x 3.6″ Kraft Envelope w/flap & string (6 ct.)
Kraft Bags: Kraft Bags Small Handled Bags 4.5 x 2 x 6.5 ” (10 ct.)
Halloween Washi Tape American Crafts 2 rolls 20ft.
Halloween Paper Straws
Halloween Foam Stickers Halloween Stickers
Scissors TIP: Do not cut paper & fabric with the same scissors it will dull them. (I have several pairs of scissors)

If your throwing a bigger party here’s a few supplies in bigger quantity:

You can see that you really don’t need a lot of supplies. The envelopes have a glue closure. For the kraft bags you can always add a little shredded paper to them.
Decide how you will add your washi tape. I was mailing mine so I knew I needed to leave space for addressing and return mail information. For the pumpkins I took the tape all the way around the back. for the stripes I cut it flush at the edges.
Completely decorate your envelope
Add a glittery bat to the front or other embellishment if you like
Since I was mailing mine I included mine as the favors. Along with some tape to add them to their straws
Wouldn’t you want to go batty sipping a Halloween drink. Speaking of Halloween party drinks I found this one that looked so yummy.
These cute straws were only a $1.00 each package. How cute are these Halloween designs?
I got enough straws to get each child three each and washi taped them together.
Next I grabbed my glittered stickers and goodies.
Then I put everything into the envelopes and bags. Add straws, foam glitter bats, glitter stickers, washi tape and a few pieces of candy. Next add names or address to the diy craft projects: Halloween Kraft Favors!
