Month 5, Day 26 of this Writing in Public challenge.
8th Day for the novel Kill Button: A Cold Poker Gang Novel.
Disappointing writing day, but got a ton of other stuff done.
Rolled out around 1 p.m. and by 2 p.m. I was packing up boxes of books and with the help of Kris and Sue, I had the van completely full of old collectable books by 3 p.m.
Then I got the snail mail and headed up to the WMG Publishing offices where I unloaded all the boxes myself and then proceeded to spend the next couple of hours unloading and sorting all the books. The main workshop room in the WMG Offices is chocked full of books spread out over twenty-two tables. Fun stuff.
So headed home and then to the grocery store and then back home by 6:30 p.m. Off to nap with the white cat, watch news, eat dinner, and do the dishes. Got done with all that by 9 p.m.
Then I worked on the workshop homework and catching up my e-mail from the last few days until a little after 11 p.m. Then down to watch some television for a while.
Back up here by 1:30 a.m. Did a little more e-mail, then also worked on the last chapter in Killing the Top Ten Sacred Cows. I want to get that book in on Monday to WMG Publishing so it can be out early next month.
I finally went to work on writing about 2:30 a.m. and had to spend some time figuring out the next step in the book. This puzzle mystery has me puzzled. By around 4 a.m. I had about 1,050 words done and gave up for the night. Long day of physical exercise, which is good for me. But not something I’m used to.
But I do have the book ready to run forward quickly again tomorrow. And tomorrow I’m recording a new lecture as well. And, of course, sorting more books.
