AN INTERPRETING AGENCY WITH STANDARDS

Some interpreting agencies accept interpreters

Some don’t and are pretty much strict about their

One agency said “we do not accept NAD3 or less.”

Rona writes again!

Valentine

One would absolutely consider it a tremendous, heartfelt blessing,

being inviting out! Your Deaf Blind friends or family members would

love to come join you for errands, shopping, medical appointments, a

place to dine, or to events. The list goes on and on.

The benefit of such is that it gives a Deaf Blind person a VERY

healthy, refreshing dose of mental, physical and spiritual well-being

by inviting them out doing things they’ll enjoy while away from those

four walls for a change.

My dear spouse always, always takes me out everywhere: the Post

Office, convenience stores, Coffee Shoppes, grocery stores, even if

it is just for milk and eggs or a car wash or even taking trash to

the town / municipal dump.

No matter how long this errand takes, even if it ONLY takes just a

few minutes, this event alone gives a Deaf Blind person an invaluable

benefit of breathing fresh air!

So, next time, before you go, don’t forget to consider inviting a

Deaf Blind friend to hop in and enjoy the day with you!

From our red hearts to yours – Happy Valentine!
