LOUDOUN CO., VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a stabbing that took the life of one victim and seriously injured another in the area of the Ashburn Meadows apartment complex in Ashburn, Va.

Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office continue to follow-up on leads in the case. At this time it appears the victims of the assault were targeted and there is no indication there is a threat to the community.

Deputies responded to the area of Whitford Square around 6:15 p.m. November 5 where a 19-year-old Ashburn male was discovered suffering multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he remains hospitalized. During a search of the area, a 22-year-old victim was found deceased in a wooded area. The victim, who has no fixed address, is not being identified at this time pending notification of next of kin.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Northern Virginia Gang Task Force, the Fairfax County Police Department, the Virginia State Police and is utilizing federal and other local resources to investigate the case.
