It’s that time again, another set of patch notes for the experimental branch of DayZ. This patch (0.36.115535) seems to be aimed more at optimizations and fixes rather than new content. The medical system as a whole seems to have had a bit of an upgrade, with the addition of a ‘check pulse’ action on unconscious players you will now be able to tell if a player is dead, alive or has an irregular heartbeat. Players with an irregular heartbeat can be woken up with a defibrillator, finally giving this item a proper use. It seems epi-pens have also had an upgrade. Now an epinephrine will wake a player no matter his or her condition, if only briefly.
The weather system is now running server-side, meaning you shouldn’t experience any weird ‘weather bubbles’ where you’re the only one out of your friends that seems to be getting rained on. There’s now also three new status indicators ‘Damp’, ‘Wet’ and ‘Soaked’. These indicators affect your players status – although it’s not yet 100% clear what the negative statuses do and/or the best ways to cure them.
Map additions have been added to many of the major towns including new Police Stations and Medical Stations in towns such as Cherno and Elektro – this should help keep things fresh and provide new, higher-value loot spawns in these major cities which seem to have been a bit neglected as of late. There are other changes too, like damage re-balancing for melee weapons and new berries to pick and eat.

Medical: Epi-pens will now wake anyone (briefly) from unconsciousness even if blood very low

Medical: Unconsciousness had irregular and unpredictable behavior (epi-pens will now always wake an unconscious player, unless they are having a heart attack)

Zombies: Zombies aims mostly for chest area now when attacking (stops the “helmet of armor” change)
