**Summary/General Description of Job:**

Support IT-related equipment including but not limited to networked and dedicated printers, scanners as well as devices employing serial, parallel, FireWire, USB, and other peripheral device interfaces such as Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and BlackBerry devices; Data Acquisition hardware and software as well as instrument controllers. Manage all aspects of materials handling of ADPE, including receiving, documenting (e.g., inventorying), labeling, and deploying, recovering, disassembling, packing, crating, documenting, shipping, relocating, reassembling, documenting, and redeploying to new locations.

**Essential Duties & Job Functions:**

* Administer networked and dedicated printers, scanners as well as devices employing serial, parallel, FireWire, USB, and other peripheral device interfaces
* Inventory items by capturing, entering and maintaining data in ADPE databases
* Manage warranty repairs for all ADPE
* Perform Information Assurance related tasks on printers and peripheral equipment in accordance with pertinent regulations and directives
* Provide immediate response to users by offering assistance over the phone, when feasible, and following up to ensure user satisfaction
* Perform Field Service activities on printers and peripheral equipment
* Utilize an automated Helpdesk call management system to track and document all Field Service activities including the resolution of user inquiries, service requests, and problem reports
* Analyze field service reports to identify common problems, developing trends, and recommend corrective actions
* Operate a customer feedback assessment activity mechanism to obtain and analyze measures of customer satisfaction
* Manage and maintain a bench stock inventory of ADPE, the quantities and types of which are to be determined using service history data that shall be captured and tracked by the Helpdesk call management system

**Mandatory**

* 2 years’ hands-on technical support experience of a large / enterprise class production server environment
* Understanding of configuration and change management processes
* Understanding of TCP/IP Networks
* 2 years’ experience supporting print servers and print queue management within an enterprise environment
* Knowledge or exposure to 3rd party vendor fleet management tools such as HP WebJet Admin, Xerox Device Manager
* DoD 8570 IAT I certification (A+, CE Network+, or CE SSCP)
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in all round technical knowledge/skills within a complex and distributed technical environment
* Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position
* Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract
* U.S. Citizenship

**Preferred**

* Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or relevant or equivalent work experience
* MCP/MCSA/MCSE Certification
* DoD 8570 IAT II certification (GSEC Security+, CE SSCP)
* Printer related certifications
* ITIL Certifications
