**JOB SUMMARY:** Under general supervision, plans and implements curriculum and educational programs for students within the program. Communicates class content to students so that learning occurs, skills are developed, and students are motivated to learn and achieve their educational objectives.

# Requirements
**What to Expect:**
You will be responsible for assisting nursing students and using supplemental instruction and programming to develop cognitive and career-readiness skills that prepare students to successfully complete the Kaplan Nursing Program and pass the NCLEX-PN and/or NCLEX-RN. This position works with students from the beginning of the program to identify their strengths (StrengthsQuest), learning styles, and areas requiring further development, and to develop and implement remediation plans as needed. This position also works with faculty to identify their strengths (StrengthsQuest) and areas requiring further development related to implementation of NCLEX success strategies in the nursing program.
**Requirements:**
* BSN (MSN preferred), supplemented by a minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience
* Meet Ohio Board of Nursing requirements for faculty, including current RN license
* Demonstrated ability as a nursing instructor in didactic, lab and clinical
* Experience in assessment of student learning outcomes and remediation strategies required.
* Must have a solid knowledge base of internal KTP Integrated Testing Program, NCLEX,RN and NCLEX -PN content
* Ability to identify trends in specific weak areas of nursing course content to successfully operationalize NCLEX-RN and/or NCLEX-PN reviews
* Demonstrated current, detailed, and accurate knowledge of the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examinations as well as currency in knowledge in the field to provide academic support.
