*Description:*

Leidos Defense Intelligence Solutions Operation (DISO) is currently seeking exceptionally qualified individuals for senior program manager position to lead development, deployment and sustainment of the AIMES family of motion imagery products across all current and future customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The AIMES Program Manager is responsible to the Air Force Portfolio Manager and the Division Manager and performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

• Managing time, schedule and resources for all AIMES direct-funded programs and the AIMES Maintenance Service Center.

• Direct supervision of AIMES Team Leaders including the Chief Engineer, Software Development Lead, Systems Engineering Lead and Scrum Master.

• Be the primary point of contact for interfacing with the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) Program Management Office (PMO).

• Plan the delivery of the overall AIMES Program and its activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

• Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the division and spur future growth.

• Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program

• Develop and manage to an annual budget and operating plan to support the program

• Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement

• Develop funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services

• Ensure that program activities operate within the Leidos policies and procedures

• Actively document program activities

• Oversee the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the program for statistical purposes

• In consultation with the Air Force Portfolio Manager and Division Manager, recruit, interview and select well-qualified program staff

• Follow the human resources policies, procedures and practices of the organization

• Establish and implement a performance management process for all program staff.

• Ensure that all program staff receive an appropriate orientation to the organization and the programs

• Supervise program staff by providing direction, input and feedback

• Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program

• Liaise and collaborate with other managers across the organization to ensure the effective and efficient program delivery

• Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency

• Write reports on the program for management and for customers

• Communicate with customers as outlined in contract documents

• Ensure that the program operate within the approved budget

• Monitor and approve all budgeted program expenditures

• Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to the Division Manager on a regular basis (monthly)

• Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures

• Ensure that all financial records for the program are up to date

• Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks

• Monitor the program activities on a regular basis and conduct an annual evaluation according to the program evaluation framework
*Qualifications:*

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5 years’ program management experience in a Department of Defense environment with a proven track-record of on-time and on-cost delivery.

• Active TS/SCI clearance

• - Thorough knowledge of AF DCGS PMO processes and personalities.

• - At least 5 years’ experience supporting intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and/or processing exploitation and dissemination (PED) customers.

• - At least 3 years’ experience leading software development teams to include software systems integration and operational deployment activities.

• - Superior communication skills to keep a widely distributed team fully informed on status, requirements and deadlines.

• - Ability to lead a large, diverse team of personnel spanning the entire product lifecycle from requirements capture and definition, through capability design and development to operational deployment and sustainment.

• - BS in a technical field of study.

• Candidate should exhibit the following qualities within the work environment:

• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience of the motion imagery domain is of particular importance.

• - Ability to think independently and contribute to the overall effort without much direction;

• - Ability to work well within a team environment, including effective collaboration with other teams;

• - Ability to work well under pressure including appropriate delegation of tasks to team members.
